serein can’t hear my breath

Hold your iPhone close — about a hand’s width from your mouth — and breathe in a quiet room. If the prompt says the microphone isn’t allowed, open iPhone Settings → Serein and enable the microphone.

is my breathing recorded?

No. The microphone is active only while you log a breath, and Serein analyzes the changing sound level on your device. No audio recording is ever created or stored. See the full privacy policy.

restoring purchases

If your access doesn’t appear after reinstalling or switching devices, open Serein’s settings and tap “Restore purchases” while signed into the same Apple Account.

managing your subscription

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. To change or cancel, open apple subscriptions or go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.

deleting your data

Everything Serein keeps lives on your iPhone. Open settings inside the app and choose “Erase all breaths” to permanently remove every orb, measurement, and insight. Deleting the app removes its data as well.
